New Navigation

On the drive home from the beach yesterday, I was listening to a podcast and had a revelation. For years, I’ve struggled with how to categorize my business. I say struggle because categories have evolved (and no doubt will continue to evolve) over time. There are vintage paper and vintage smalls, journals, drawing, coloring products and other artistic creations. But it occurred to me that all these things fall into two categories: Vintage Finds and Artistic Pursuits. So, moving forward, when you enter the Shop portal, you’ll find these two categories. Looking for vintage? Click on Vintage Finds. It will lead you to All Vintage Finds (to see the entire vintage collection) Paper (to see just the vintage paper) and Not Paper (to see all the other vintage items that aren’t paper like keys, metal letters and other smalls plus home decor) Feeling artistic and want to create or purchase completed artwork? Click on Artistic Pursuits. It will lead you to All Artistic Pursuits (to see all the artistic offerings), Coloring (to see the coloring products), Journaling (to see products for art journaling) and Handmade (to see items made by me).

I feel this is a good direction, but welcome your feedback once you’ve navigated through it. I’m always open to positive suggestions! #VINTAGEFINDS #ARTISTICPURSUITS

More flea market finds

Went to another flea market over the weekend and found this portfolio of mid-century French industrial drawings! These are *gorgeous* and suitable for framing. I’ve started posting to the store here. #CelebratingTheCreativeJourney with #FrenchEphemera

Hello there!

pennants-for-blogWelcome to the Jubilee Flea blog! I’m Trina Lucido, artist and owner of Jubilee Flea, a curated online store that celebrates the creative journey. Whether your interest is one-of-kind vintage pieces or darling paper products, unique new art supplies or handcrafted finished artwork, I have just what you need.

My artwork includes greeting cards, art journals, mixed media pieces and clever handmade decor. I adore using vintage materials in my work and repurposing unvalued items. It brings me great joy to find the pieces that I use in my artwork and share with my customers. The store only stocks items that I feel are special and would use myself.

In this blog, I’ll share thoughts and ideas about art and creativity. I’ll invite you into my studio and bring you along on my travels and junking adventures. I’ll announce new projects and show dates, share tips, talk about art journaling and classes, plus so much more. Together, we’ll celebrate the creative journey!

If you found me by way of The Paper Flea Market, hooray! The Paper Flea Market became Jubilee Flea on July 1, 2015.
